Review

This one has a really strong perfume-like fragrance and I can tell that it’s trying to mask the smell of alcohol. I previously reviewed TFS Real Nature in Lotus which also had a strong fragrance and this time, I was hoping that there wouldn’t be a strong smell (or any at all) since it is a white tea variant and not a flower. I don’t know why, but that made sense to me. This second time with the strong fragrance makes me think that the rest of the TFS mask sheets will be similar, and I am not pleased with that.

Looks fresh and promising!

There is around a teaspoonful of essence left in the package when you take out the mask. The sheet itself doesn’t feel saturated with essence, and after putting the mask onto my face, it felt dry. Much like how a pack of wet wipes left opened would feel; only slightly damp. I wasn’t very happy since the mask didn’t last 10 minutes before it dried down. I didn’t even get to squeeze out any essence; that’s how unsaturated it was.

The mask was such a pain to fit onto my face even though it had several slits around its circumference. It didn’t want to stick to my face and I had to constantly pat around the mask to keep it on; the nose and chin area were the most difficult to “tame”. Like the lotus mask, I didn’t feel like the essence was deeply absorbed. Yeah, my skin looked hydrated but it didn’t feel like it. It’s not sticky nor tacky, so I assume the essence has dried out because I don’t think it seeped into my skin.

Final verdict, tl;dr

I still don’t like this one from TFS! Too strong a fragrance and doesn’t do anything to my skin but make it look hydrated. I don’t feel like trying out the rest in the line but I shall, in the hopes of finding even at least one that works for me.

Note
Keep in mind that skincare &  hygiene are very personal. What may work for me may not work for you, and vice versa – even if we have the same skin/hair type!
